There is a famous legend of a Taoist named Zhang Sanfeng who lived in Wudang Mountain. One day, Zhang Sanfeng watched a fight between a snake and a sparrow, and that same night he dreamt that the emperor Xuan taught him the secrets of martial arts. His experience gave him special insight on Yin and Yang, and he developed Wudang Taijiquan. This legend is also recounted in Jet Li's film, "Tai Chi Master".

Now in this instructional video, the very best elements and features, or what could be referred to as the "cream" of Taijiquan, is taught in a concise form. In particular, Taijiquan's twisting and waving movements, and special attack and defense techniques are explained and demonstrated in detail. This video presents a unique opportunity to study traditional Taijiquan as presented by a true Wudang master.
