This instructional video teaches the Wudang Eight Drunken Immortals Swordplay form. Legend has it that the eight drunken immortals swordplay form in Wudang came from the eight immortals in Taoism (Han Zhongli, Lu Dongbing, Tie Guaili, Zhang Guolao, He Xian’gu, Lan Chaihe, Cao Guojiu, Han Xiangzi). In the drunken swordplay form, the body is drunken but not the steps; steps drunken but not the mind; mind drunken but not the spirit. The body waves about from the left to the right, like clouds when slow; like rushing thunder when rapid. Hardness blends together perfectly with softness, making it difficult to distinguish true attacks from feints. This form imitates the drunken immortals. The sword techniques are easily changeable, its postures like a swimming dragon.
